I will admit, it would be pretty sweet to go scuba diving with a cell phone on your belt holster. Come up for a call and tell the wife and kids you're with your mistress in the bahamas. Maybe that last part won't work out so well but I'd still do it. Verizon still sucks though.

I think you just discovered the secret as to how Aquaman REALLY talks to fish.

I can't wait until the lawsuits from angry parents whose stupid children drowned from trying to make a phone call underwater.

I wish they'd make this phone for Cingular. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

What most will not admit is the following: Their phones don't fall into swimming pools, they fall into TOILETS 🤣 Saving face is better than embarrassment.

My Samsung SCH-a530 fell into a bowl of my own fresh urine! Sweet! I rinsed it out under warm water and a little soap and after letting it thoroughly dry out for a few days (believing all the while that the phone was toast) I discovered that it worked as good as ever.

Amazing.

Of course I did...within the first few hours of owning it! I had to do the test...otherwise how could I trust the phone in an intense situation?

At the risk of making myself look like a complete CLUTS....... My buddy was laughing the other day that i go through more phones in a year than i get hair cuts.

but just as far as water is concerned the list in the last 2 years is as follow

1 indeed fell into the toilet, well a urinal
1 was thrown into the pool - in my pocket
1 left on the hood of my car in the rain
1 fell in a MUCHO margarita being tossed to me across the table at azteca

and the grand finally a total of 4 yes FOUR phones have bounced slid or fell out of the boat and are now at the bottom of the coeur d alene river should anyone need one.

so in answer to your question these phones are for people like me who forget to care that they even have a phone. i no...
