Reviews - Please!

Can new owners please place reviews - I'm dying to hear all about this phone, and wanting to buy it this weekend but need to know about the reception and general feel. Help a fellow phone-freak out.

I dont think it got released in stores till today or yesterday, I'm sure there will be reviews up very soon. Do your own review--go to the store and check it out!

i went to stores on monday. not there. so i had it next-dayed to me. i now have it.

now i'm not a phone gadget person. i have a laptop with national/broadband access, iTunes, Garmin GPS, email, browser, the works. and a inverter in both my cars. so my laptop does the heavy lifting and my phones are used for talking.

i have a nextel account too. i have a motorola i710. with the extended battery. the gzone is about the same size. not as thick. a tiny bit taller. although it would be a bit shorter if you removed the bumper (easy i assume with a torx screwdriver). i replaced an LG vx3300 (i think thats what it was). a bare bones phone that is pretty small. btw, for what it was, it was a great phone..

i like the phone. does everything ...

How has the reception been thus far? And if the "bumper" was removed would the phone look as if it were lacing finish on one edge or is it designed to be used with/without? Thanks.

Here's my take on it, 24 hours into using the phone:

I don't use frills on a phone, let me talk on it and txt msg people and I'm pretty much good to go...but I have lost one too many phones to the wonderful product well known as water...rain, lakes (I have a business on the lake), beer...

Hence the reason I got this phone

An hour after getting the phone, I just had to test it...the water dunk test...I put the phone in the bottom of a large glass bowl that had water in it...and had a friend call me. The phone instantly started ringing. Never skipped a beat. then I texted someone (while submerged) and it worked perfectly.

That's the good.

Then I fired up the much needed speakerphone...too muffled at louder ends of the spe...
