Now we're getting somewhere! Two questions:
1)How can I tell what version of firmware is on my 8300?
2)I was a bit confused by one item in your post. Does V3 make it impossible to play mp3 files, even if the feature is reenabled in the "hidden" service setup menu? I'd hate to have the bluetooth stereo working but no more music! Vcast and WMA are "not an option."
