Should I wait (VX8100 vs. VX8300)

I just got the LG VX8100. So far it is great. I still have 14 days to return it, so do you guys think that I should return it and wait for the VX8300 to come out or should I just keep the VX8100? If there arent any big changes then I dont really want to go through the hassel. Is the VX3000 just a sleeker version of the VX81000?

if i were you, i would never ever ever get a RAZR because they suck... period!!! i would rather get a more reliable and better LG VX8300. Motorola has to do something with their cameras it sucks so bad comparing to samsung and LG

I would stick with the 8100. The 8300 may be released soon, but who really knows? Dealing with the present...the 8100 is Verizon's best phone. I would never, ever, ever, buy a Motorola V3c or m or whatever. The phone is bound to have bugs (just as it's father and it's father's father and so on and so forth (read V710, T730, T720, V60, Startac etc...) Motorola is notorious for putting out bugged phones as it is. Add to that the fact that Verizon is bound to re-tool the damned thing to keep things that will work with another CDMA carrier such as Alltel or US Cellular from working with VZW's phones and you have a recipe for disaster. The 8300 is not adding enough to the 8100 to bother waiting on it to be released.

First of all, stay away from the Razr! I had it, and hated it. My neighbor also got it, and is on his 4th one now and hates it.

If I were you, I'd wait for the 8300. It will be a bit lighter, thinner, and look nicer.
They are holding off release till they run low on the 8100's. Should be ready within a couple of weeks. In addition to the features of the 8100, it will have VZ Navigator. The navigator on the Moto V325 works just like the ones that come in high-end cars, or available at stores for $1,000 or more. Having the phone call out directions to me when I travel out of town, or just trying to find my way around the suburbs is great. The navigator is supposed to be released on the LG 8300 on June 13, so if you buy it before ...

If you're having no problem with your 8100 stick with it. Of course, your phone will be discontinued in about a month but it's still a great phone. Plus, we don't know about the availability yet. I work at a Verzion Dealer store and we just got the mail-in rebates for the 8300 so it shouldn't be too much longer.

My guess is the 8300 will be available mid-June but that's just a guess. It could be held off until as late as the end of July to early August.

Whatever your choice, they are both going to be good phones.
