Actually it seems to me like you need to update your phone. I had the same problem with my Lg vx8300 phone. took it into a verizon dealer, got the newest update, and now they all play in the vcast music section. The new update takes out the custom mp3 player the VX8300s had, but it makes up for it by making the vcast music player slightly better.
