Get software on phone?
Is it possible to put cell phone software on the LG 8300 and not have to buy it from Get It Now? Was just curious before buying a program. Can you put it on the mSD card and it find itself on the phone? If so is there a web site where those send to phone programs are?

Here is a link that shows you how to get any get it now for free. I used it and I have vz nav, weather.com, super pages, and vindigo all for free. You can also get games, ringtones, and pictures. Why pay for all these when they can be done for free. All you need is a data cable which you can get on ebay for $5-$10.

Sorry for being such a noobie but I've taken all the links there and can't find a directory for the Get It Now Programs? The guide shows Backing Up, Uninstalling and Reinstalling, but I can do neither without the actual programs. I've also followed all the links above the guide and none of them seem to get me where I need to be.

Just follow all of the steps on the link I gave you. You will need to download bitpim from bitpim.org. You will also need a data(usb) cable for your phone. On that link it shows you how to get free vz nav. Follow those steps and instead of downloading and uninstalling vz nav, you can do it on anything that is on get it now. I have four things on my phone that I got for free using that link. I have vz nav, weather, super pages, and vindigo city guide. It does work if you follow all of the steps.
