Voice Command Question

I just got the 8300 today. I upgraded
from the lg 6100 which is a great basic but
solid phone. My question is doe's the
8300 have a voice command like the lg6100.
With the 6100 when you opened the phone
you were able to state a name and the
number was dialed. On the 8300 I can not
find this feature. It appears that one
must go into tools and go into voice
commands. Thanks in advance.

Just hit the button on the left side of the phone with the microphone etched in it. From there you can change the options to suit your needs.

Let me add that in order to use the 8300's voice command, you'll need to state exactly what you want the phone to do.

For example, "Call Smith - Bob - mobile." In this case, I've programmed Bob alphabetically, with his last name first, and I want to call his mobile phone. If I were to say, "Call Bob - Smith - mobile," the phone would get lost.

Farewell.
