Speaker answering + + +

regatta

Nov 13, 2006, 12:40 AM
Hi,

I just got this phone today. I had the Motorola E815 and had many problems with answering it when it was on the speaker.

I am wondering about a few things on the LG/VX8300 that Verizon gave me as a replacement.

1 - Can the phone be answered on speaker without flipping it open?

2 - What are the three soft keys on the cover do?

3 - Does the alarm have a snooze?

4 - Can it be hooked up to the computer to save all the phone numbers in my phone book?

5 - Is there anything I should look out for with the phone? Pro's & Cons

6 - Do you guys like it better than the Razor models that Verizon offers, they were going to give me one and I said I didn't want anymore Motorolas.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

hi to answer some of your questions.

1. No. The only way it well work that way if you are using a bluetooth headset.

2. It's for your M3 player.

3. Yes. when the alarm comes on you can hit the button on the side and it will give you 5 more minutes or you can open it and cancel the alarm.

4. Check with Verizon. They have this kit that comes with some kind of program and your usb cable.

5. I'll had my phone for about 2 months and I haven't had any problems with it. But you can check the forum. It has a lot of information on this phone and others.

6. Check the forum. I was going to get one until I looked at it real good and i heard some people say how easy it is to break.
