I Find Some Of Your Reviews Comical

Not looking to start an argument and I am not just looking at the reviews for the 8300 (although they are the ones prompting this message). It's nice that this multi-tasking phone can do everything but wash your dishes - people comment about the photos this (and other phones) take(s) - the MP3 player and the large buttons and how thin it is, etc. But to me foremost more than anything else is does this phone (and others that are reviewed) act like a good phone. How is the clarity - the earphone - the speakerphone - the reception - how do people on the other end feel about the voice quality, etc. To me, that is the most important thing about a phone and it seems either reviewers don't mention this at all or it becomes an afterthought after the...

I have to say that so far so good on any actual phone concerns....I love the fact that I can hear myself talk unlike the 8100, everyone says i sound great. Now if they through in a better external display all would be good.

Thanks! I'm glad someone at least has commented on the quality of the 8300 as a phone. It's great that it can do the other things - and as long as the 8300 can provide great phone call quality with good reception then having an outside screen that is only so/so will still make this phone a winner.

I really don't know what your talking about. I talked about the signal strength and the ear quality. I also mentioned that it is comparable to the 8100's quality. Really there isn't much you have to say besides... "it sounds good." Plus, they limit how much you can say, and people on this forum want to know about all the features. I've mentioned in other posts about the signal strength, its clarity, the speaker clarity, and other issues that you have asked.

Most people have used or use the 8100 or another LG and in the past Lg has always been a very good "phone". Reception, Ear piece volume, Speaker, ETC. Therefore noone or most are not concerened with the phone part which we already have faith in, and would like to know about the features.

That's good to know; however, I believe if one is going to review a phone then nothing should be assummed, i.e. others are familiar with LG. However, since I am leaning towards this phone (over the Samsung 930) what you have just stated is good to hear.

If one were just going into a Verizon phone for the first time - and cared more about the phone features (as opposed to the photo/music features - although they are somewhat important as well) - would this phone now be the phone to get?

i'd say by reputation it is definetly the phone to get if features are not an issue but because it's new who knows. At least try it out and if you don't like it take it back with in 15 days and get the sam
