Which bluetooth headset for the 8300?

Can anyone make a recommendation on what you think might be the best bluetooth headset for use with the 8300. Audio clarity and volume would be my priorities.
Thx

Try the logitech windstopper.. I love it and I have posted reviews before on it. I use mine with the 8100 and have had no problems. Lots of people will give you advice but find one that works for you. This brand is made for LG phones. I have tried them all and this one seems to work the best. Nobody can tell that I am on a headset. No echos or feedback.

cool. say, is there a retail store (Radio Shack) or internet retailer that allows you to test different bluetooth headsets and return them?

I don't see the windstopper listed on the Logitech website. Where did you find it?

It's not called the windstopper, it's called the Logitech Mobile Traveller.

READ THE POSTS ON WEB SITES.. THIS PRODUCT sounds like another piece of *rap. Just like most B/T sets. Lot of people have had nothing but problems. I have tried 4 different models with my 8100. All Sucked. GIVE IT UP. B/T is a GIMMICK... Not a useable feature. GEEZ people wake up.

10000% , I tested every headset on earth - Well I think I did - The VZW available Jabra BT350 is 100% awesome , clearest and nicest available..

Works great on the 8300 as tested tonight..

I also bought the LG models tonight from best buy to see how they are and they are horrid. They feedback and totally stink..

The Jabra 350 is the best of the best !

Theatermax... I said try the logitech not LG and I hated the one that you use. It hurt my ear. the part that goes in your ear is way to hard. As I keep saying I have had not one bit of feedback on my logitech wind-stopper did you try that one. I know all the reps and managers at all 3 VZW stores in my area and they never get this model returned. They get a ton of returns on other models. They also have tested this one and all love it. So take it for what it is worth and as I also stated I told the OP to try and find what works best for them.

The Logitech hurt my ear and the Jabra was too loose. The Plantronics 320 is cheap and works great, BUT, it all comes down to individual opinions on looks/fit/performance etc. There is obviously not 1 ideal headset for everyone!

No. Verizon has a 15 day WFG with accessories too, though, and other retailers just go by the regular return/exchange policy.

no true. I had a customer in last night with a jabra350 and it echoed badly. I work in a area with a lot of motorcycle enthusiast. and they swear by the logitech. Cuts out all the wind while they ride. if you work in a loud office or travel alot I would say the logitech would be the way to go.

THANK YOU FOR VALIDATING MY POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been trying to tell people about this Logitech and how great it is but some people on here refuse to believe that. Some people try something once and make their decision. I think this is by far the best one out there. I have tried them all or most at least 15 different ones. No one can tell that I am on a BT headset. Thanks again

I have the Motorola H500 headset and I get STATIC like crazy while using it with the 8300. I know my headset worked fine with my other phone. Is anyone else having problems with bad static with the 8300?

I hope that this can be fixed with a software update. I can't hear people with my bluetooth headset h500! Their voice cuts in and out and there is static.

I LOVE this phone, but have tried several BT headsets and have gotten a lot of static. I just picked up one of the cheaper ones Verizon's offers, the Jabra BT150, and so far it's better. Only got static here and there for a split second. Mostly clear, though. I gave up on the 8100 awhile back because of the long voice commands, went to the 950, which had amazing Bluetooth-crystal clear always. I definately want to keep my 8300, but I use BT about 98% of the time, so I need it to be good.

I was just wondering if we have a clear cut winner here - I am looking for suggestions on what will work the best with the 8300. I read on Howard Forums that someone stated that an LG rep was using the Plantronics 510 and was very happy with it. Has anyone tried that as of yet?

BLUETOOTH HEADSETS ARE A GIMIC . NOT A USEABLE PRODUCT. KEEP WASTING YOUR MONEY. UP TO YOU...
ALL OF THEM AREN'T ANY GOOD AFTER AWHILE, YOU CAN FRUSTRATE YOURSELF AND YOUR CALLERS.

I found it was a gimmick through experience, by buying several thinking one was better than the other. If I am in my car driving , that is when most use it. Majority of people can't hear me what is the purpose of purchasing one ???? PLEASE ANSWER THAT ONE MS. MARY ?

Manufactures make this product hoping people will settle for less than what they adverise product will do... THAT SIMPLE.. Why is that so hard to understand ?

I am Glad for you, but that isn't the case with most people , if you used you b/t where there is no noise in office or home. Driving in a car with backround noise it doesn't work correctly. Everyone experience is different. It needs to be profective for lots of us. If your just using it passive , great for you but lots of us aren't and it's still seems like a gimick then a useful tool to talk on .....

Steven, have you upgraded your 8300 to v03 software yet?

I know many of you guys are having issues but I now know of a few people who've had very positive results from the upgraded software.

Again, if you have upgraded, I strongly urge you to do so and then compare the performance with any BT headsets you have and let us know here so others can see your experience.

I've tried start a new thread for those of you with BT issues on the 8300 about upgrading but it seems to have been largely ignored.

I am going to buy a logitech to test. I currently use the Plantronics 510 and LOVE it. Crystal clear. In fact, all I sell in my store now is the 510 and the 320/330/340 by Plantronics. I have very few complaints from those headsets. The motos were hit and miss. I didn't get a whole lot of people that wanted the Jabra's. But I will order in some Logitechs to test.

I use the new cardo scala 700.
its small and light and has decent battery life. it comes with a wall charger and usb charger. it has a locator buzzer on it and the abiliuty to swap between 2 diff phones at the push of a button.
it works for 75% of the time.
I am very happy with it. Technology has to be accepted, not relied upon. for the most part, it works. when it doesnt, I just use the phone.
when I have the volume on 4 bars, my callers do not hear an echo. any louder and they do. but it definetly works. I can sit at my desk and in my car and it works.
