Wow~ what a nice phone!!! and it's about damn time that they changed the stupid verizon menu... well VX8300 has it too but there are different styles now i and i like the other ones better than the current stupid verizon menu. i wish it was internal antenna but STILL A NICE PHONE~~~ i wonder when its going to come out... maybe after i'm done w/ my t-mobile contract in september this year, i'll probably get this one or samsung a930... nice elegant black slick phone... anyway my point is i like this phone and i would like to get a hand on this phone and play with it... whens estimated release date on this phone?? 🤤

Does anyone know if this will be like the other vcast music service phones that only allow you to play wma files?

Can't give you a definite, but I heard the new VCAST music phones will have MP3 support much like the 8100 has now. It just needs to be turned on. I'm just looking forward to this phone having the VZNavigator application.

fyi, talked to verizon QA and they are moving ahead on navigation for the lg 8100 in addition.

you know what you can play mp3 files with Samsung A950, 970 though those are VCast phones right? and they do play mp3 files... i don't know about LG 8100 but other vcast does play mp3 files except the sucky RAZR... RAZR is such a stupid phone seriously....

LOL! yeah I was excited for that phone to, but I think i am gonna wait, plus I dont want a "mid-range" phone.
