OK I have the S710a and i really like this phone ALOT! Is this (K790/K800) phone actually worth switching to?? I am a true believer that my current phone is still one of the better phones out there and it's 2 years old. All i am asking is a little help making my decision.

Thanks peps..

Even the w810i is an upgrade from your current model. I think either is worth it.

i agree with mcardente that the s710a being one of the better phones. i have it and people still ask me, "Is that a phone or is that a camera?" i reply, it is both." even though it is about a 1.5 years old. i think you should go to the w800i. mainly because you will be saving money with a new 2 year contract. the w810i only be a 2.0. but the k790/k800 will be a 3.2 digital camera. if that is what you want more, get that.

If the walkman feature is more important, then get a W810i or wait for the W850i. If the camera is more important, then get the K790. All of these are significant upgrades to your phone, but it comes down to what's worth it to you. 😉

the w850i may not be offered for a long while.

I just made the switch. When it comes down to it, the big advantage is the speed of the interface. The S710a could be slow to respond when you pressed a command button. The K790a is alot faster. Other than that, there is not much difference. I'll keep my 710 as a backup.

See that's the thing I know that my phone (710a) is a great and it pretty much has everything i need , but just slower. I can't make any sense out of it to just spend $400 for the quickness of the phone.
Thanks guys!!
