I just got this phone yesterday. I was frustrated that I could find very little in terms of reviews online so I registered to answer others that needed questions answered that I also wanted answered.

A> Yes. Incoming - if the phone rings you just press and hold the speaker phone button until it answers through the speakerphone...even worked when I had the buttons locked. Outgoing - Without opening the flip, you can press the speaker button and either redial a few recent numbers....or if you hold the button a little longer it goes to voice dial mode where you can dial with voice.
Q> Last thing, While on Call can you turn on the speaker phone with the JUST the SIDE key or Do you also have to use the soft key.

A> I can only get it to work with both the side key and then the softkey...that was the only lacking thing to me...I assume it is so you do not accidentally go back and forth by tapping the button but still it would have been nice as an option to turn on or off in the menu.
