how do you set voice mail notifications to play the assigned sound more than once? my old phone would beep at intervals until i flipped the phone open. I do not check my screen that often so an intermittent sound notification would be nice. any advise is appreciate

i'm not sure, I would imagine there is probably 3rd party software that can do this for you. one of the many quirks of the phone I found is if you select an entire song file for notifications, when you receive an im, voice message etc. the phone will play the entire file & won't stop until the file is done or you power cycle the phone. so one way of achieving what you want may be to create a sound file to use that is the sound you want, & make it a length that will achieve what you are looking for, not a good solution as you will still have to wait for the sound file to finish, it will drive you batty....I would try searching either the web or some of the smartphone software sites for a 3rd party solution.
