answer mode

when you set the answer mode to 'any key to answer', so it doesn't answer automatically when you open the phone, the left external key doesn't silent the ringtone anymore when you receive a call but answers it instead. is there a way to keep its function but still don't answer the call when phone opens? and if you can answer a call with the phone closed, is there a way to close the phone during a call and not lose it?

also, how do you turn off the sound the phone makes when you make a call?

thanks a lot.

I don't know much about the answering keys, but you can change the keypress sound for dialing by going to Start->Settings->Sounds->Keypad Control
