HTC 3125 / Smartflip / 8500 (Star Trek)

Boy Genius (through Engadget-Mobile) is reporting that Cingular is planning to release the Smartflip/8500/Star Trek in late August/September. I assume it will will be branded under the Cingular name (as is the Cingular 8125).

My question is, when released by Cingular, is there any chance the features may be slightly different (maybe 128MB instead of just 64MB, etc).

The phone has a micro-SD slot. I put a 1GB Sandisk card in there and now have plenty of memory. The slot is not convenient to get to so buying one large capacity card is the way to go.
