Can you hook this phone up to your laptop to use as a modem? I know that the information on the phone here on phonescoop says it is not "Data Capable", but I wanted to confirm with someone who has the phone. Are you able to use it as a modem?

That's the only real feature that I see missing from this phone. I appreciate any info you can provide.

There is a reference in the phone settings to a USB connection but I don't have a cable that would work and I have not tried to test using bluetooth.

I would not get my hopes up too much but if I get some time I will try to test.

OK, thanks for the info. If anyone is able to get the phone to work as a modem over bluetooth, that would be great.

BTW, what provider are you guys using the phone with? T-mobile? In the US?

I am using it on T-mobile US. You may need to have the Blackberry Plan if you use Opera Mini.
