I understand that special care needs to be taken with the inner screen particularly thus I don't want to use just any type of household cleaner on it but I do need to be able to clean it somehow. Get a product called Iklear, it's what I use for my laptop, it's safe on LCD's, monitors, HD Monitors, Ipods, and I use it on my cell.

Iuse iKlear also. It's a safe product for that use. Recommended by Apple for Laptops, iPods, and LCD Screens. Spray it on a microfiber cloth and just wipe off the skin oils and dirt.
