Coming out today?
So is this phone going to be released today? I know I originally heard July 5th, but then I heard it would be delayed again.

Like you I am itching to get my hands on this phone. Finally last week my local Cingular store said the info they had on the phone was an early July release date (talk about non-committal).
The date of the 5th is one I've heard/seen only on this board. Today being the 5th I'm going to call my local Cingular store later to see if the phone was in today's delivery.
Note, this phone is not showing up on the Cingular website as of this AM so not sure if that is a bad sign...

As usual, Cingular has no idea when this phone will ever be made available.
I have called several stores and the national office 3 or 4 times each over the last week including today. I have always gotten the same response. "We don't have any date for when it will be available."
I'm about ready to give up on Cingular and switch to another carrier!

I've been to two Cingular stores today and both times I get a blank look and they try to sell me a different phone...

OK folks some one had to do it, after calling cingular customer support,was put on hold, got new support tech, twenty minutes later, they knew absolutely nothing. (big surprise there.) I was told to call cingular-nokia sales, ten/ fifteen minutes later same answer-no clue on release date of nokia 6126. Was told to call nokia, after another ten minutes got the scoop, (sort of) nokia will release the phone on their web site the week of the 17th (dont know which day for certain). I was told that cingular hasn't asked for the phone, But it is possible it could be released by cingular prior to nokia's release. (Cingular can ask for the phone at any time,the phone is ready to be shipped out.) Whew! Sorry for the longevity of this reply.
