Can someone post when they try the w810i with Cingular in the US? Is it compatible with Cingular in the US?

It should be, it has the 850 band, I even called Sony earlier today to find out when they are going to be officially available here to buy, and there is no official word, but the guy said probably in a week or so.

I asked this question once before and the reply I got back was just pop your SIM and the phone will work as a phone, for internet you have to go in and change some settings which can be found on the web.

When I talked to the SE rep, they said if you go to the site somewhere you give your phone number and SE will send you program to download and the program configures everything for you.
