Ok, for those of you who have gotten your w810's from Cingular, how do you like them so far? A friend of mine is wanting to get one, and its hard for me to say its a good phone (the Cingular one) when I've had no experience with it. So what do you guys think so far??

I picked mine up yesterday and within five minutes of getting home realized I had a bad egg. Wouldn't turn on. Back to Cingular who replaced it quickly and now that I've got a working model, I'm fairly impressed. I had a Motorola 551. The phone is much smaller than I thought it would be, the screen looks better than I thought it would. I actually like the speaker and the ability to play music even though that did not appeal to me before I got the phone. Getting used to a new phone/software takes some time, but so far, I like Sony's menus and basic setup. Plus, after rebates, I got the phone and a 1GB card for only $99. Can't beat that with a stick.

When I go to Media Nets homepage, and select option 3, which is mail and messaging, there is an option (2nd one) that says Mobile IM. When I click there it says its not available for my device. I have an unlocked w810 and I was wondering if those of you with a Cingular version could download and install that program. Thanks for the help in advance!

One time I showed someone my phone and 45 minutes later, I found out that it was online soaking on the MEdia Net homepage. Isn't there some option that will auto-logout the phone when its inactive?

Another question, if I have no data plan, how much would this cost?

Oh 🤭 I guess just navigating around is pretty cheap. Any idea of what it costs to use those pre-loaded apps like Mobi TV?

Should cost about 4.50 and for the mobi tv you better have unlimited data. Its VERY expensive if you dont.

Loving the phone thus far; I was missing my W600i even though I really like my 8125 and this phone gave me what i wanted plus a very sexy cool factor over both 8125 and w600i. Had no problem thus far and the speaker, even though not louder, but more crisp than W600i.

Not as loud in an outdoor setting but it is close [to me] if not equal in indoor settings.
