I stopped into the cingular store today and the associate told me its coming out the 22 of sept...
Sounded accurate to me, even though it sucks its so far off...pleh.

I have waited like 3 months for Cingular ot get off their fanny! Honestly, the Cingular reps don't know when it will be released. I talked to my rep and they were shown the phone in February to be released in July. Well, I heard June 29th, then July 4th, then 2-3 week in July, then August 8th. My guy said they have an overstock of the 600 and until that goes down they won't be relasing the phone. It could be as late as Christmas!!! 😲 He also told me that it would be released at a price between $320-$390. Well, that was all I needed to hear because I was watching some auctions on eBay and I found a seller that had the complete package for $350 including a case and charger (Wireless_Experts was the name). I say if you want it get it...

Hmmm, Since the 600 has been removed from their websitd the overstock must be not as great ass your guy says it is. But we lowly consumers must wait for Cingular to decide that they want to make money on this phone so we can have it.

If ordering 810i from Wireless_Experts: how does one get or order a warranty when using E-bay.
I thought I saw a 3 year deal somewhere but I can't find it and they don't answer my email and they don't seem to have a phone that takes calls. Also I would like a protective clear case for it as well from them if possible.
Please help because I want that phone asap 🙂

Gundcow, thanks for the referral to Wireless-Experts. Great service and superfast shipping. Got it in two days, perfect, with all accessories.

Ordered one last week, got it friday, SWEET phone!
...
So where did you get it from?? I'm thinking about ordering from la la west or myworldphone.com.
...
I ordered mine through compuplus.com
More expensive than the others, but I've ordered lots of things from them and never had a problem.
I can't tell you about the others, but I have seen lots of posts on the howard forums site with pretty positive reviews. Might want to ask the posters about those.

Be careful with Lala West because she pulls the memory card out of the package and sells it seperately!!! I almost bought from her until I asked her about it. My recommendation still stands with wireless_experts. They were the best for me and I just noticed they lowered their price (rats for me good for you)! hehe so just be careful who you order from. You want to make sure you are getting everything that Sony Ericsson would give you! 🙂

I paid a little more than some of the other online stores, but, the reason is that I've had EXTREMELY good results for years with compuplus.com
I've order a lot of computer hardware from them, and have never had a problem. I've also ordered over the years several cell phones and never had any problems with them taking out cards etc.
My W810i was from hong kong (from the firmware version revision), but was packaged with American English on the box, had English instructions, and also came with the adapter so it would plug into a standard U.S. electical outlet. When I powered it on for the first time, the menus were in English, with the options for: English, Bhs Indonesia, Bhs Malaysa, Tagalog, Tieng Viet, and some sort of Chinese character...

From what I'm hearing here you guys paid way too much. Got mine for $120 from a local asian store, unlocked, with free holster, with 1 year service from T-Mobile. Got to have plan otherwise its way too expensive. Online prices I think is a big joke for their prices. Do check around your local asian cellphone stores, legit third party dealers or china town areas or asian newspaper and you'd be surprise the phones they sell. Many to choose from and way better than carriers store phone selections. These people are the first to get any newly FCC approved phones before online retailers, carriers can even get their hands on them as early as a month or more. These stores don't sell or even display none FCC approved phones or they can get in trouble...
