MP3 bitrate/battery comsumption?
I put about 200 megs of MP3s on my 512MB card and have noticed a considerable (to me) drain of the battery when only a few songs(5 or 6) are played. I burned them to the card at the 192 bit rate. Would I have any better results at 128 or lower bit rate? I have dimmed the screen to the lowest setting which is still very usable for me and and all the other things I am hoping will add up to longer battery life. BTW I have a 4Gig card on the way and may see even more drain. Does anyone have any tips to conserve battery strength?
