Will unlocking the phone get rid of cingulars settings?

I just wanted to know, if I unlock the phone will it get rid of cingulars setting? For example, the limitations they put on the volume?

Let me know if that works.

Or if anybody has figured out a way of doing that:raising the stereo headset volume.

Thanks

no, unlocking will not do that, nor is that a cingular issue.
You have to do a OS reload from the SGH-D800 version or a seem-edit.

Two ways

* Call Cingular and request an unlock code. They will e-mail the code with directions to unlock your phone within two weeks. However, you need to either have a current cingular account that has been active for the last six months or, if you don't have cingular service, a receipt for the phone. You will need to fax the receipt in to cingular as proof of purchase.

* Google "unlock codes" online and pay for an unlock code which may or may not work.

Please keep in mind that if you try to input an incorrect unlock code too many times that the phone with get permanently locked. Then you would need a usb cable to unlock it.
