Could someone please tell me how to make my text messages save to the PHONE instead of the SIM CARD? I read the manual that came with the phone backwards and forwards and I can't fix it! My text messages are automatically saving to the SIM (which can only hold 30 messages) instead of the phone (which can hold 1000) and nothing I've done so far is fixing this issue... If I can't get this resolved this D807 is going back to cingular 👿

I have the same problem as of recent. I deleted all messages the other day that were all stored on the phone because it was full and now they are all stored on the sim card. No clue why either.

You have to protect each message individualy. Highlight a particular message and select options. You should see a "Protection" option. This may not save it to the phone, but it will prevent it from becoming lost information.

To retort, I just looked mine over. Do you move your sim card from phone to phone frequently?

Well, I have recently, but not regularly... But alas, I've already taken the D807 back the Cingular store, lol. It's just NO GOOD for texting. Period.

On the upside, I now have a Nokia 6682 and it's shaping up to be one of the best phones I've ever owned! 😁
