It should be around 160-200 after a 50 rebate. you should call your local cingular for more details. It's 100 for a 2 yr. so I would recommend getting a 2yr.

Why a 2 year contract? So I can be stuck in it and my phone be obsolete by the end of it? I like the new technology, and want to be able to get the newest thing next year.

and also, you can upgrade every 18months. if you have a higher rate plan, you can even upgrade every 1yr. I just think it's a better deal.

A one year contract would obviously be better than a two year contract (more flexibility). BUT..if the difference in the price of the phone ends up being more than $100, I'd have to think hard about whether or not it's worth it. If you pay that much up front, it's definately spent. If you go with the cheaper two year phone price, you can always get out of it for $175 or you might decide to keep it.
