2gig memory stick

anyone tried it? sandisk's website says 930 doesn't support it, but i called samsung and the tech said it "might" lol after a long time on hold

There should not be any technical reason, as MicroSD cards are typically formatted in FAT, which has a limit of 2GB.

It would be interesting to see if anyone tries it.

Actually the a930 uses a microSD card, and not the memory stick card. That's to the original poster. To the person that typed the previos message, the a930 only supports 1gb cards. Anything larger won't see it any larger than 1gb. A firmware update would have to me be made to allow 2gb cards to be used at 2gb on the phone. It's true that the cards come formatted in FAT, but the phone requires the card to be formatted in FAT32. I don't know why, but it does. That's what I read in the manual.
