Can you disable EVDO?
Disabling EVDO will save battery life when you are traveling through a non-EVDO coverage area.
Thanks in advance.
If your phone has EV-DO on, then turn that off if you don't use it, or don't live in an EV-DO area. Only part of my area is covered by EV-DO, and my worksite is not one of them. So I turned off EV-DO since I don't use it, and it has helped my battery last a little longer. I know this is repeating information, but to turn off EV-DO, go into the Settings & Tools menu.
Press # and enter 000000 to get into the hidden menu.
Go to option 6, and it'll bring you to the options of hybrid (default)
CDMA only mode
EVDO only mode
You'll want CDMA only mode checked so EV-DO is turned off.

I was "looking" through the hidden menu mentioned above. Most menus had sub menus except for the debug screen. So long story short, does anyone know how long it's going to take to "debug" it's been at it for almost an hour. I dont want to do a reboot in the middle of the process cause I am afraid it may mess things up? anyone?
To turn off debug, you have to go back to the same hidden menu, and hit option 1 again to go back to the regular screen.
