Samsung SCH-A930
VERY CONFUSED
Anyway......I'm confused because I don't know what to do. I haven't seen the 930 in person yet, but by the pics, I really like the keypad, the shape of the phone and the looks of the interior screen. The confusion I am having is the outside screen mostly. Do I really want a phone with an OLED exterior screen? I feel like I would be taking a step back, not forward. It's like the phones of yesteryear! Not so sure about the color either. Don't get me wrong, I like black, but I also lik...

I already knew I probably wouldn't like the outer display, which I didn't, after seeing it in person. The entire outside of the phone looks like an old pager I used to have.
The black is too blah for me! Not only is it all black, but it's not even uniform. It has shiny black and matte black.

For someone like myself who uses his phone for a clock, I am illuminating my outer display quite often, so this would help considerably w/ battery life. Plus, do we really need a color external display? The only pro I see there is picture caller ID, which is a big deal to some, but people like myself could not care less.
YAY for OLED!! 🙂
Someone commented on the color...well you know what, I was sick of verizon releasing decent phones in horrible colors...the 8100, the 950, lg 7000. I am a sales rep and I constantly being judged, I can't have some ridiculous looking phone on my belt when I'm with a client. This phone looks sleek and professional...BLACK IS BACK BABY!!!
As far as the OLED, I think its different and kinda cool. I really dont use picture ID anymore, so its not a huge loss for me, however the battery life could be a nice bonus.
