Replying to: saving inbox and outbox text/pic/flix messages by gsxr0469 Aug 25, 2007, 12:57 PM
Well, this is definately a delayed response, but a simple solution for it is Bitpim. Throughout most any from about phone you can get information on where to get Bitpim and how to set it up for your phone. once you get it all plugged in and figured out, just click on the "get phone data" button located in the upper left corner just below file. when the new screen pops up, check the SMS option and press ok. this will download all your text files that were both sent and recieved to your phone. from there, just go up to file, export, and SMS. When the new screen pops up, just click browse to save it to where ever you like and name it whatever you like. the file is in "mbox" format, but if you open it with word it works just fine. The file contains information about who sent it, when they sent it, what the message was, and who recieved it. its a little hard to sort out what all its saying, but the information is all there.
hope that all helped.
