Outer Display Question

I browsed through the handbook and didn't find anything that helped. If I receive a missed call/ text message the outer display only displays that information for roughly 30 seconds and then goes away. This bothers me because I don't want to have to flip open the phone to see if I have a missed call/txt message. Is there a setting to constantly have the "1 MISSED CALL" or "1 NEW TXT MESSAGE" on the outer display, or does this phone not do that?

Thank you

While we're on the topic, is there a way for the outer display to always show the date instead of having to press a button or open the flip?

Nope. No way to have missed call/ text message on the outer display more than 1 minute. That's why I didn't get this phone.

The missed call dialog is retrieved by holding the speakerphone button in for two seconds.

Dunno if this helps, but go to:

Menu | Settings & Tools | Sound Settings | Alert Sounds

There, select the alert notification you want for each type of message and/or voicemail. In each of these submenus are "reminders" which you can set to once, every 2 minutes, every 15 minutes, or off

The default is set to off. I believe this will cause the phone to "remind" you of any missed messages or voicemails, even on the outer display.
