Samsung SCH-A930

I've been going out of my mind trying to put a ringtone on my phone. I've done it before and now the way I used to do it won't work and nothing else seems to work either.

I've been trying to put my ringtone, less than 30 seconds, less than 300k, correctly renamed to a mid file, and I nothing works. I've tried emailing and no matter what it saves it as a .qcp file. I've tried the SD card, but no matter how many times I format or reboot, the phone won't recognize anything that I put in the my_sounds folder. I've followed the previous posts about putting sounds on the phone and absolutely nothing works. I've done the ID tag editor and everything. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix this, because I'm going out of my mind trying to figure this out.
