Samsung SCH-A930

I recently converted some MP3 to WMA-9 at 128kbs. They played perfect in WMP 10, however when I loaded them on the phone I had problems. There is a milli-second pauses or breakup every 5-10 secs.
I am wondering if anyone knows the proper codec and quality for this phone.
