Battery does not last during mp3 use at all!!??
I was just wondering if anyone has the same problem or knows of a solution. If I charge the phone completely and use it as an mp3 player...( I only have 3 songs on it) it dies extremely quick. Three or four songs and im down to two bars!
Does anyone know if they have a better battery, or why would they make an mp3 player that cant handle playing music??
Thanks in advance!

Interesting. I have never run down the battery using it as am MP3 player. I can get hours of MP3 use - used it once for three hours on a cross-country flight and only 1 or 2 bars consumed.
I have also used the phone for a couple of hours driving in the car hooked to the car stereo without any issues.

How can you hook the phone up to the stereo??

Anyway, once I got the correct part from Verizon, you can then use your own headphones as well as hood to any stereo that has a line input (you may hav...

Nice.. I will have to try that... Can you also hook in an fm transmitter made for an mp3 player?
First I need to figure out my battery, It had a full charge and after listening to a song about a half hour or so it went to flashing dead battery 😲
The phone is only about a month old too...

Yep, you can hook up an FM Transmitter. I even sometimes hook it up to a set of powered speakers from an old computer that I have out in the garage so that when I am doing projects I can use it.
The battery problem seems weird. Why don't you put it in StandAlone (Airplane) mode to turn off the phone and bluetooth radios and see if that makes any difference. Not really a long-term solution, but at least try to narrow it down.
