Speakerphone echo

I recently upgraded to the 930 via Verizon from Circuit City. After charging the phone and configuring all the settings (display, sounds, etc.), I realized that every time I called (or someone called me) and I put the person on speakerphone, that person would hear an echo of their own voice (1-2 second delay). Quite an annoying problem, making the speakerphone essentially non-functional. However, as soon as I took them off speakerphone, the sound was okay.

If you are typically calling from the same location, it could be a cell tower issue though it is odd that it works fine when you take it off speaker. Also, if you are typically calling the same number, it might be the receiver's connection or even phone. If you are calling from anywhere and everywhere and to anywhere and everywhere it most likely is the phone.
As I mentioned previously, it seems to occur when a setting in the "Voice Commands | Voice Settings" is changed. However, as soon as I reset the phone, the speakerphone works just fine without any echo.
