durable??

For anyone who has used the phone for a few weeks: Do you think the phone is durable? It feels so light, I am afraid it would fall apart after dropping it the first time.

Hehe...i did drop it once on cement. it made two dents, but it's still working fine.

thanks! sounds like you are happy with your cell phone choice. one more question -- how has the battery life and reception been on the phone?

I've been happy with it. It'd be better if it was thinner, and lighter..but can't complain.

Battery life is good. If no bluetooth and no music player, the phone can go a good two or three days on one charge (I use the phone for about 1 to 3 hours on weekdays). With bluetooth, it's closer to two days, and I only turn it on for 4 or 5 hours a day. With everything on (bluetooth, music player...), normal use, it'll be down to the last bar at night. Minimal use, I can push it for two days (no bluetooth and music on the second day).

Reception has been great. I use to have the LG 6000, and this Samsung with internal antenna, no problems whatsoever. There's a spot on the phone where you're not suppose to put your hand over, cause that'...

i've had the phone for 2 months now i've dropped it once from about 4' above the ground onto concrete. at first there were quite visible white markings on the impact points, but not much scratching. The white markings eventually disappeared when rubbed and since the phone is black its tough to see the dents because of the lack of a shadow on the marks. so far so good, good luck with yours
