I just bought a brand new SCH-a930, and I'm about to rip my hair out. First off, I bought the 'Essentials Kit' (ear buds, software, usb) with it. I installed the drivers sucessfully, but when I try to install 'Step 2' (Setup V Cast Music) it tells me that it can't install due to me having a 'more recent' version of Windows Media Player (I currently have WMP 10 installed). I used the step-by-step instructions in the manual to sync my phone to my computer, and WMP recognized the phone. Everything went relatively well until I actually tried to upload a song to my phone. I ran into the same problem... but I was able to load music into my phone by adding music directly to the music folder.

Double click on My Computer, open the Samsun CDMA Technologies drive, open the music folder and you can drag your music into this folder..

It appears that you can transfer WMA files into the phone.. get a audio file converter and convert your mp3's to WMA then transfer them to your phone..

This worked for me..

Good Luck.
