Headphones?

Ok...this is something that's been bothering me for a few days...

i have two different 2.5 mm jacks for headphones...the first one, when put it, produces extremely quiet music, but if its put in just right (which causes the jack to always fall out), the music sounds good. Another i have is a converter to a 3.5 (stereo), and when pushed in only gets sound on one ear.

So...my question is...is there any way to resolve this w/o buying a headset? and if not, how much will these cost, because so far i can't find any price or any picture or any headset :/

R U wanting stereo?

I got some with my media kit from verizon and they sound pretty good. They probably arent as good as sennheiser but they are clear and loud.

the media kit is cool cuz you also get the USB connetion which makes converting mp3s to WMAs on you phone super easy. The earphones are pretty good actaully and it IS stereo. If you want to use your earphones, they need to be low power (like earbud style) and you can get a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter from verizon. I think its like 10 bucks.

The problem with a regular 2.5 to 3.5 mm converter is that is is stereo only. The 2.5 mm jack on the phone is stereo plus a microphone, so the pin-outs don't line up.

I got the converter from Verizon (accessories for the a930 on their website). It allows me to use my own headphones. I hated the ones that came with the media kit (blue ones). Those kind will not stay in my ear for anything.

The converter from Verizon allows you to answer and end calls and has a mic, so you can actually take calls while listening to music (the music is temporarily paused).

I bought the headsets with the Verison Music Essentials. In voice conversation, only the right ear piece has sound. But in music mode, both ear piece pieces work. By design, maybe.

So i bought the thing from the verizon site that lets you use your own headphones instead of the verizon ones. Besides the fact that the clip broke the second i took it out of the packaging, i noticed that the volume in the headphones isn't too loud. Is this just the headphones im using? Or is this what happens when you use this thing?

*BTW* yes i know about the wheel on the mic...everythings as high as possible
