Although the talk/standby time is great, if you plan to listen to music, watch videos, and/or have fancy loud ringtones... go for the extended life battery! Keeping in mind that I have been working in a hospital and in and out of signals all day (which kills battery) I went back out and got one for 42.00 with the cover (my account said something about Merit Club and theres a 25% discount on accessories...try asking about it if you have been a customer for years) Or search the web for a deal, but I reccommend OEM...not the knock offs because it will void the warranty beyond the voids we already put on it by the light hacking LOL.
