Deleting imported ringtones on a930?

I've been using BitPim to transfer MP3 ringtones to my new a930 (using the a950 profile in bitpim) but I noticed that I cannot delete my transferred ringtones from my phone (they appear under the My Sounds menu). The sounds aren't locked or anything. I hit 'erase' on the menu, and song just stays there. Anyone else having this problem, or know how to fix it?

I think thats just in BitPim window... like a "remember me" type of thing... (shows last data pulled from phone) Try navigating to the card in my computer w/o phone and deleting them that way. Unconfirmed...but should work.

I'm having the same problem. I emailed some midi's to my phone (before i figured out how to use mp3 ringtones) and now i can't erase them from the phone memory and i can't move them to the card memory...ooops? I haven't tried deleting an mp3 ringtone yet cause i like all those :-D

crazyj608-
are you using BitPim? and if so, do the midi's show up in Bitpim when you connect your phone?

here's my updated situation: I checked out the memory settings in my phone, and the sound file I want to delete is 0kb. It won't let me rename the sound, delete the sound, or really do anything with that one sound. The file doesn't show up in Bitpim at all. It's like it doesn't exist, but for some reason it's still listed in the 'my sounds' menu!

Off-topic: is there a way to forcibly clear all extraneous information off the phone (music, sounds, contacts, pictures, etc) and pretty much revert the phone to the way it came out of the box?

I haven't had any problems with bitpim and anything i put on with bitpim. the midi's im having problems with were emailed to my phone and they say they have all the memory that they had in the beginning. I haven't tried seeing if they show up with bitpim, that is the next step but im lazy :-D
