I'm having an ongoing problem with the phone periodically powering off and then back on on it's own? Anyone else having this problem???Today it happened twice when I recieved text messages while I was talking (via BT headset) while the phone was charging. Really like the phone so I'm going to exchange it at Best Buy for another one and hope for the best. Hopefully, I just got a bad phone!

WOW I can't believe other people are having this problem...

I am too!! But mine doesn't do it while I am doing anything... at least not yet... It powers off when its charging and the charge is complete.

(usually overnight).

I tried to get it taken care of at Verizon but they said that they cannot give me a new one since its over 30 days old... bleeeh. I use it as my main alarm too ☚ī¸

Yeah, my phone does that too. So what you can do...when you plug it in to charge, and it shuts off, you can turn the phone back on again. So after the charge is full, the phone would still be on.

Mine doesn't turn off right away when you charge it. It will randomly turn off at some point while charging. And it doesn't always do it. It sometimes goes a week without doing it once, but then may do it 3-4 times another week.

I don't think there is a way around it. I contacted Samsung about it and they said, "have you tried reseting your phone?" like that will do anything, but I in fact have done that lol and they still want me to "try it again" bleh.

Verizon is being dumb about it also, refusing to let me get a different one since they can't replicate it in store.

It happened again last night... if I don't get some straight answers from Samsung, I am going back to Verizon until I get a new phone.

It amazes me how many people dont pay attention when signing a contract. Your phones have a 1 year warranty through Verizon, go to a corporate store, and theyll ship u a new one (or refurbished but they are basically new and most of the time better than new) if they dont have a replacement in the store.... ugh...... What good is the english language if no one reads it?! lol 🙄

Like I said, I did this and they said they cannot do anything unless the problem can be replicated in the store and since its random, that is very hard, but I think I will go down again today and pester them until I get it sorted.

So I called up Verizon and they were super nice (sooo much better than those punks in the stores.. those people are always jersks to me, never fails). Anyway, the nice lady I spoke with put some comments on my account, went into the store and the tech guy grabbed me a brand new phone, new charger, new battery and transfered all my contacts for free without giving one bit of gruff to me.

Excellent 🙂

Now lets hope this phone works... I will post in a few weeks or a month just to update, but I have a good feeling that it will work just fine.
