Motorola i580
When can I actually get it?
So the i580 is coming out on 6/18 so will I be able to buy it and add it on my plan on the 18th or am I going to have to wait longer......?

i had a conference call this morning, presenting the new promotions, and the i670 which is releasing on Sun. nothing was said about the 580, but we are having a national conference call on 6/21 for the next promos which will be out 7/2, so i guess the 580 will be out on 7/2.

Any word on if the i580 is coming out on 7/2 (per your conference call yesterday)??? 7/2 is on a Sunday, as was 6/18 - the date the i670 came out. Is this something Nextel normally does....releasing phones on a Sunday?

ok, the conference call has been changed until next thur. which is the last day of the month. The phones are released on the Sunday, but orders won't go in until Mon. so techincally its not available until Monday, Unless you can find a store that has them in stock prior to the release day.
That only happens if the warehouse we order from has them available for us to order the week before, so that we can have them in stock when it launches. Thats a phone by phone basis. If it shows in our warehouse this coming week, i will post on it.

i've tried to keep up with release date info, our main office in NC has been sending out 3 month release projections, and the first one i recieved showed 6/18, and then a second come a week later showing 7/2, i do know that our promotions are changing on 7/2, and our latest conference call stated that there was an additional iden handset to be released shortly after the i670, i have spoke with my IAE, and he has told me that there has been one come through the office to demonstrate. I will be having a conference call on thurs morning, so i should know then...... i will post on that afterwards.
