nextel PTT and bluetooth
is it possilbe to use the PTT with a bluetooth headset on? I am assuming that you would just push the ptt button and it would send the audio to the bluetooth headset like if the DC speaker was set to off.

AFAIK, there is NO BT headset with a "walkie talkie button". You still have to be holding the phone, and use the walkie talkie button ON THE PHONE, but you can hear and talk through the BT headset.

I work for nextel so lets just say that i've tried this out a few times. its probably going to work the same way that the i605, i870 and the blackberries work where the you will be able to speak and hear PTT's through your bluetooth headset but you will have to push the button on the phone in order to talk. it would be nice if they made a nextel bluetooth where the hangup button on a regular bluetooth headset could somehow also be used for PTT. but im sure you already know how fast nextel is coming along with bluetooth technology so dont hold your breath.
