I asked my Nextel dealer if he knew when the i580 was going to be released and he thinks
early May for the i580. I had also called the upgrade department/customer service at Nextel to see about the release date for the phone and they told me that unfortunately they are not notified about new phone release dates until the morning of the actual release of the phone. Although, I did read on this website that Motorola wants to keep phones secret right up until they are ready to ship. This phone doesn't seem to be too big of a secret, so I am going to assume that the release date will be soon. Hope I helped you out a little.

what i think about the phone is that the phone is sweet but it is bigger than what i am useto i still like the 870 better.
