Weird Texting Problem / FM Transmitter Question

While text messaging using the T9, when I go to add an apostraphe s to a word it randomly inserts phone numbers or names from my phone book. Does anyone know how to stop this or have this same problem?

For example, I will type "he's" and it will turn into "he7039684440". I can't get it to stop or change. It's SO IRRITATING.

Also, the manual says that I should be able to turn on the FM transmitter during playback just by going to options. Is that options in the song screen? I do not have a transmitter option on this screen.

Sorry if these are n00b questions, I looked around the forum and didn't see them yet!

I dont know about the text messaging issue but here are my thoughts....

I just purchased my Fusic Four days ago and long days at the office were keeping me from playing with it. I actually played with it for the first time last night and here's what happened.

The phone didn't come with an installation CD, so I was worried, but when I plugged in the usb cable I was able to litterally drag songs out of my music folder right to the phone.

About the FM transmitter. I got it to work last night after playing with it for a while. You can only get it to work when you go to the MY MUSIC screen. I have no idea how to choose a station first as it would only play through the first default station 88.1. Any one know how to utlize the other 11 p...

Yes - those numbers or names that come up happen because the phone's "smart" feature kicks in - it thinks it sees a match so it automatically tries to finish the word for you. Just keep typing and it should go away.

Get your music to play with the phone shut. Once it is playing, open the phone and you should see "options" on the right soft key (lower right side of screen). Click it and then scroll down until you see "music transmitter on". Click it - the music will go off, but now you need to tune your car stereo/home radio to the channel it is on.

If your stereo is on and you don't hear anything, try tuning your phone to a different channel first. To do that, exit the music and go to tools, then music transmitter, click a button, then program it like you'd program your car's stereo buttons, assigning a station to each one. Then try it again.

I don't know if there are other ways to do it, but this is how it worked for me.

I've had the same problem with the apostrophe then the numbers... it is irritating.. I couldn't get it to stop either.. so i had to turn it to ABC mode for a minute.

As far as the FM Transmitter goes. Actually start a song.. then go to the options menu on the right side and press the zero (0) to turn on the transmitter. If you want to change the tranmitter presets.. go to the fm transmitter from the tools menu and then change them there.

Keep in mind the music has to be played through the "Media Player". If the music isn't transferred to the "Media" folder it won't allow the FM transmitter to work.
