In regards to all the bluetooth profiles.

dont get me wrong, all the bluetooth profiles are pretty cool, but a FM Transmiter, a f*&*ing FM tramsmiter. This is the greatest addition to phone ever.

I dunno about ever, but that's a pretty damn cool feature. And the phone looks sexy! 🤤

i have seen one live in person. it is a really nice phone. the outside is actually quite minimallist (similar to that of the lx350) i actually applaud LG with a nice, simple design

remember the 535, the 325, the 225, the 1010 . . . has there been a single phone from lg that isnt garbage?
I'd buy it right now if it wasn't . . . gonna wait and see what samsung and sanyo offer to compete.

Sure, every one of their GSM phones, as well as their lineup for verizon. They arent bad phones over there, just a bad network and a bad UI they impose on everyone.
True, the sprint lineup has been so far less than optimal, but I almost bought the 535, and would have if it were in fact EVDO capable.
This is my next phone, my toshiba 4050 is dying a horrible slow death.

But, have you seen the LX-350, the current model they just released? It is a lot better than the previous 325 and 225, and 125 .. Those 3 were all slow, and weird. The newer LX-350 I have had a chance to use, and it gives very good reception and call quality. unfortunately, it was unactivated so the most I could test with was Claire.

The 350 is a nice phone, but the bluetooth is horrible. This is a known issue with sprint and their answer to it is that the phone needs to be in clearview of the earpiece. So when it is in your pocket, you will get static. I hope that the 550 does not have this issue.

i sell a lot ofthe lx-350's and have not had a single return on it yet. keep in mind that the 350 is still considered an entry level phone and my LG rep said that it will be FREE by xmas.

LG is known for sucking when it is used with GSM service, yes , but for CDMA like Sprint LG's are made better

got the 550 yesterday and tried it out with the hs810 or 850...not sure which my friend has, as they both look the same...but you'll be glad to know that when i had the 550 in my left pocket and the headset on my right ear, there was NO STATIC. No one on the other end heard any static, and I didn't get any static.
thank God sprint has a good non-pda bluetooth phone finally...i had the a940 and the a900...both blew chunks.
good job lg.
I think i'm still going to return mine though...I bought it out at full price...*sigh*
