Re: Need help with T-Mobile Web
As shipped, the phone has one GPRS entry called 'T-Mobile GPRS'.
Since you need to go through T-Mobile's proxy server for all network connections, you can simply change its 'Connects to' setting to 'WAP Network', and create in the proxy section an entry that 'Connects from' 'WAP Network' and 'Connects to' 'The Internet'. The proxy address is 216.155.165.50. Type is WAP. User name and password are not used. Then in Mobile IE, go to Menu->Tools->Options->Connections, disable auto detect, and select 'The Internet' as the 'network'. Also if you have other GPRS connections set up (which I strongly recommend against), make sure 'Internet connection' under Start->Settings->Connections->GPRS->Menu points at 'T-Mobile Internet'.
The only problem with this is all http requests will be turned into wsp requests. Some sites (such as Google) actually serves different pages (WML or HTML) depending on whether it's an http or wsp request, and you'll never see the HTML version this way (if you key in http://www.google.com , it becomes wsp://www.google.com which is the same page as http://www.google.com/wml ). On the plus side, T-Zones and all its WAP links will work because everything goes through T-Mobile's proxy.
Confusing, I am sure, but I sure hope this helps.
