Customer Service told me that I needed to get the EDGE service in order to use internet when not connected to a wireless network - Not true. I just punched in these settings for GPRS (When I had an MPx220 http://65.254.44.178/showthread.php?s=f309605 57b7d6ed53d09b835384e3619&threadid=571906 ) And I'm able to surf freely without the extra service... and it's relatively faster than when I surfed on the MPx220.

are you sure it's free? You could be racking up some monsterous per-kilobyte bills right now.

Well the MPx220 I've had for over a year gave it to me free - and I was using the same codes (and I've been a customer for a very long time so I had the original T-Zones before they rose the price)... so let's hope it's free 😉

I get free internet on my Moto V330 too. ;)

I think T-Mobile forgets to turn off services alot. As far as I know, they don't have a pay-as-you go data service, but i might be wrong?

How did you get it working on your v330? I can't find the screen to put in those settings.

I have never needed to configure the GPRS settings on my V330. I think I read a forum post a long time ago that tells you how to do it.

Remember, your T-Mobile account has to be set up for data access for any of this to work. In my particular case they forgot to disable it when I turned off the service.

If you are able to access the WAP browser on your phone, I recommend downloading Opera. It rocks.
