Phone Freezes up

Twice today the phone froze up while talking for 15 minutes, and when I tried to end the call, the keypad was not doing anything... I couldn't end the call, no lights would come up and any button I pressed nothing would happen. To end the call I had to take out the battery. Has this happened to anyone. Is the phone defective?

Did u return and get a new one? My sync doesn't even work. I liked the phone up until this mess happened. Today the sync wouldn't sink with my laptop through USB port and then the phone froze. I don't know if I should just return and get a new one or just return and forget about the Moto Q. 😕

my advice is to forget the q. I had the same freezing problem swapped it twice and finally gave up. I went back and got the 700p, its more money but well worth it,it smooth and works like a dream, definitely the best phone i ever had. I miss the size of the q, but thats it, everything else isn;t even comparable

Ues I have had a couple of freeze ups but diagree that a 700p is worth it - it is like carrying a brik in your pocket.

It is a phone and Palm is a good pda, it doesn't have great voice independent software and I hear the 3rd party is not so great. Q's is awesome!! You are getting away from the true purpose of the Q i think, which is phone stuff, not so much pda stuff like the palm.
