No. It just means that your personal account has to be sponsored by a business.
Many businesses work out deals with VZW to provide them discounted service / equipment. Often their employees have the benefit of being able to use that business deal for their personal account.
Check with your employer to see if they have a VZW business account, and if you are offered discounts. If so, contact VZW B2B customer service, migrate your B2C account to B2B, and wait impatiently until the 24th (that's what the rest of us are doing).

Ugh... my B2B guy won't confirm the 24th for some reason. He also stated it's possible this thing is only being released in the Chicago area to start. No, I'm NOT trying to stir up a sh!tstorm here.
My point is he's either clueless or just lying to me âšī¸ I could be totally wrong and he may just be in the dark, but I find that hard to believe with just a week until release... supposedly.
